Daniel is an expert biologist, ardent traveller, and passionate activist for freedom and sustainability. He joined Stone Soup as a consultant in June 2019, where he focused on the development and modelling of social businesses, sustainability, social impact measurement, human-centred design, and organisational development. His breadth of professional experience extends to working with prominent Brazilian companies where he innovatively utilised methodologies such as Design Thinking and U Theory to create new products and processes. In the non-profit sector, Daniel contributed to Teto, a respected NGO, by participating in projects aimed at community upliftment including building wooden houses and enhancing community vegetable gardens. Additionally, he analysed data and surveys to generate invaluable resources that shed light on the living conditions in Brazilian slums. During his two-year journey across Africa, Asia, and Oceania, Daniel devoted his skills to various local developments. These ranged from maintaining a meditation retreat, to documenting wildlife as a photographer and videographer for a safari reserve, and designing a local vegetable garden. Moreover, he used his knowledge to empower HIV-diagnosed individuals and young mothers by providing valuable information and support for project creation. Daniel also independently initiated the Sab'tico and Iqhawe projects.
